Pursuing the Truth is the seventh main mission in "The Heist" downloadable content for Marvel's Spider-Man. Mary Jane Watson calls Spider-Man giving him the address of the Costa family safe, the final Maggia drive. There, Spider-Man finds Black Cat.
Story[]
Mary Jane gives Spider-Man the address of the Costa family safe and likely location of the final drive. She tells Spider-Man she forgives him in case he did have a son with Black Cat, and quickly changes the subject to the Maggia drives. She tells him that years ago, the families agreed to a joint accounting databse to keep the peace but require all five data drives to access it, and that Hammerhead wants to steal these assets from other families and bankrupt them.
At the address, Spider-Man finds Black Cat having already taken the drive. Black Cat throws an EMP grenade disabling Spider-Man's webs and runs throughout the city. Spider-Man chases her, trying to convince her to trust him, but she continues to flee through the subway and then through the city.
Spider-Man reaches her and urges her not to give Hammerhead the drives as it would make Hammerhead too dangerous. The two agree to work together, stalling Hammerhead while they look for Black Cat's son separately. She refuses to answer when he asks if her son is his. Spider-Man then calls Mary Jane to give her the update, and Mary Jane warns against trusting her but agrees to help find Hammerhead. Exhausted, Spider-Man calls Eddie's Pizza for a pizza. On the way, Miles Morales calls Spider-Man to ask about possibly training him.
Walkthrough[]
The mission is a chase against Black Cat, with no webs initially. Instead, simply run forward holding 
to chase her and run over the objects on the way. The chase is scripted until an 
prompt leads to the a brief cutscene and the next part of the chase.
When the chase continues, Spider-Man's webs return as he chases her through the subway. Using Point Launches will help reach the train, though it is important to avoid the electricity on the way. After getting through, the next section requires swinging around the city. Upon closing in on her, use 
to web and slow her down. When Spider-Man mentions he can get close, reach her and use the prompt to end the mission.
Thereafter, citywide activities, crimes, Screwball Challenges, or Hardy's Stolen Art can be complete before the next mission, "Newsflash", is available.
